After spending over 20 years in an office setting working for the Department of Education, I decided to pursue a career that aligned with my passion for animals. My journey began while volunteering with multiple rescues to rehabilitate and rehome dogs in need—a rewarding experience that made me fall in love with the field of veterinary care.

At home, I’m surrounded by my wonderful animal companions: three amazing dogs—Samantha, Draco, and Nova—and a bearded dragon named Tak.

When I’m not at work, you can find me kayaking, hiking, or getting lost in a good thriller or suspense novel.
